Statement of Faith
A declaration of our core theological beliefs and practices as a Baptist church.
Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule of our faith and practice, and the final authority in all matters of doctrine and life. Psalm 119:89, 105, 130, 160
Trinity
We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We reject any form of modalism or modalistic views of the Trinity. Exodus 20:1-3, Matthew 3:11, 28:19
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Isaiah 53:4-7, John 3:15-18, 36
Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers. We are committed to local autonomy and the local church as the primary place of worship. Acts 2:41-42, 6:5-6
Outreach
We believe in the Great Commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel. We are dedicated to community outreach and evangelism. Matthew 28:18-20
